Cairngorms Forest and Woodland Framework
Draft Update
The Cairngorms Forest and Woodland Framework was originally developed in 1999 by the Cairngorms Partnership following an extensive consultation programme. It provides a strategic basis for future development of forests and woodlands in the Cairngorms National Park area.
Early in 2006 the Cairngorms National Park Authority contracted Macaulay Research Consultancy Services to review and update the framework in relation to any recent policy changes. Despite the extensive policy review, very few changes were needed to the original 1999 framework document.
