Cairngorms Countryside Events Diary 2008
Welcome to the online version of the Cairngorms Countryside Events diary for 2008.
Produced by the Cairngorms National Park Authority, in association with the various Ranger services and organisations operating in the area, this diary contains information on more than 400 fascinating outdoor activities, guided walks, events and talks which are taking place in the Cairngorms throughout 2008.
From low level meanders through ancient pine forests to challenging treks into the high tops, from pond dipping to searching for elusive night time wildlife, all events are led by the Ranger services and organisations themselves and are graded according to levels of fitness required.
Instructions
To make it as easy as possible to find an event, which suits you, we have provided two ways of searching. The first is simply by choosing a specific day or month. The second allows you to search using various criteria including category of event, time of day the event takes place, location of event, free or charged events. Click on the symbols in the Contact line to see details for each event along with any further important information.
These events make it easy to get out and about in the Park and enjoy the breathtaking scenery and wildlife on offer. We hope you take this opportunity to explore the area with experienced guides and that you have an enjoyable and memorable time.

Step 3. Select a day to view
Click on a day of the month to view all events occurring on that day. The current day of the year is highlighted. You can also click on the month title itself to view all events occurring in that month.
Advanced Search
Step 2. Select the end date for your search to stop at.
Step 3. (Optional) Narrow down your search by selecting additional criteria.
This includes deciding on the category of an event, the cost associated with events, the time events occur at, and/or by specifing a particular area.
Step 4. Search! Press to begin your search.
