Since 1989 I have worked in the outdoor industry in the Highlands apart from a brief spell in Fife Council in the mid 90's. The last 13 years at Glenmore Lodge as a manager has brought me into contact with a range of recreational governing bodies from mountaineers and paddlers to mountain bikers and orienteers. I also served on the Recreation Forum under the old Cairngorm Partnership that preceded the CNPA.
