Role of the Forum
The purpose of the Sustainable Tourism Forum is to:
- Advise the Cairngorms National Park Authority and anyone who seeks advice on strategic issues associated with the development of a sustainable approach to the development and management of tourism in the Cairngorms National Park;
- Advise on the preparation and implementation of a Sustainable Tourism Strategy for the Cairngorms National Park; and
- Promote discussion and the sharing of knowledge, awareness and good practice in sustainable tourism matters.
Meetings and Members
The Sustainable Tourism Forum meets around four times a year at different locations throughout the Park. All Forum meetings are open to the public and anyone who wishes to attend is asked to contact the CNPA in advance. Click on the link below for further information.
The members of the Forum have been appointed by the CNPA on the nomination of each of the respective lead bodies shown below.
